The specialized service, the first of its kind in Singapore, focuses support to the whole family, therefore including victims, perpetrators and witnesses of family violence. The programmes encompass a continuum of services starting with remedial services and moving into a preventive cum developmental model. An added component of the service would be advocacy and research so as to contribute to policy and thinking in this area of work.
